I'm speechless, but not surprised, it's more like apathy, or something along those lines, I'm a fool, getting foiled again by, tongue twisters taking me from home, but I'm too scared to pick up the phone, Cuz if I can't hear myself think, how am I supposed to talk to you, I can't hear myself think, cuz I don't know what to say to you, Think big, think big, think big, just warn me in advance, I've lost my train of thought, but I've still got my boarding pass, so, one-two-three, not it not it, it's hard to pin it down, play pin the tail on the ass, while I'm talking to the clown, Where are my words? I'm fearless, so I don't, get surprised, I get careless, a nihilistic, frame of mind, I'm too cool, for all this kid stuff, afraid you, will call my bluff, Cuz if I can't hear myself think, how am I supposed to talk to you, I can't hear myself think, cuz I don't know what to say to you, Think big, think big, think big, just warn me in advance, I've lost my train of thought, but I've still got my boarding pass, so, one-two-three, not it not it, it's hard to pin it down, play pin the tail on the ass, while I'm talking to the clown, Where are my words?

Hey I remember you, you were the lady who, was picking scabs, on other people's skin, and I hope you're happy, with all those second hand scars, Driving around our home town, where we used to live, a memory at every stop light, our very own fairy tale, and it reminds me, just how much trouble you are, But you just won't go away, I'll have to throw away, you're phone number, cuz you keep coming my way, I can't think straight these days, leave me alone, It's a common misconception, that love can be a noun, if you're falling in something, you're probably gonna drown, love is the things you do, and the things that you speak, But you've been playing dumb, your mute mouth firing like an empty gun, I haven't heard you sing in years, just postcards saying 'wish you were here,' and never thought we'd ever make it this far But you just won't go away, I'll have to throw away, you're phone number, cuz you keep coming my way, I can't think straight these days, leave me alone, I've thought too much about, how it could've been that, I forgot about how it was, and you are making it hard to remember, the parts that didn't live up, We've gone zero days, accident free, but, we still wake up, and expect to act differently, I guess we'll never realize, this just wasn't meant to be, But you just won't go away, I'll have to throw away, you're phone number, cuz you keep coming my way, I can't think straight these days, leave me alone

We've got an elastic frame of mind, I kind of feel like crying, Oh no, She says we'll have a good time, she's no friend of mine, I know, Well lets just take this easy, and see how everything goes, I can tell that she's lying, I can tell by her growing nose, My, my, how you've grown, I've been living life off, the beaten road, you may have seen me, I'm the bum sitting outside the box, pining for all the things, I could have lost, if I had the chance, She's got such a soft touch, like an early morning snow, She likes to fantasize, about a life, spent 'round the globe, But when her chances come, she'd rather just stay at home, I see her in the doorway, weighed down by her morning robe, My, my, how you've grown, I've been living life off, the beaten road, you may have seen me, I'm the bum sitting outside the box, pining for all the things, I could have lost, if I had the chance, She reminds me of a girl, I knew a few years ago, Now she's back from the past, from a world otherwise unknown, Well she just stopped on by, to see how everything is going, She's standing in the doorway, backlit by an alien glow, My, my, how you've grown, I've been living life off, the beaten road, you may have seen me, I'm the bum sitting outside the box, pining for all the things, I could have lost, I knew a girl, who had an ever growing nose, I knew a girl, but she's buried beneath the snow, I knew a girl, lost to an alien glow, And I will know a girl whose name remains unknown

I met a George named Mack, He wore his heart on his sleeve, And slept on his side, Cuz if he lied on his back, His bed felt like a coffin, And he was buried alive, Yeah, when he looked back, And at his silly little life, With nostalgic eyes, Well he felt hijacked, Like he had lost control, And he fell from the sky And he said, I, I wanna go back in time. Yeah he said I, I wanna go back in time He said if I hold back, I don't see how I, Could ever look you in the eye, And it's not for lack, Of motivation, It's for lack of trying, Like there's rail road tracks, And I'm smoking my last cigar, Sitting on the rail ties, And he said, I, I wanna go back in time. Yeah he said I, I wanna go back in time He was a life that went all wrong, Lost to mediocrity, Lost to simple songs, He was afraid of his own demise, Hoping when is time would come, That he would realize, His ol' pub friends were growing old, He wasted his life dreaming of gold, He soon would become food for mold, And he wasted his life inside this town, He never took his chance to get out, He better not pause his time is now, It's time to grow up time to be bold, It's time to break free of this towns hold, I guess that's why, he began to try, to live life He said I need gas, To throw this car in reverse, And go back in time, Cuz they say grass, Is always greener, on the other side, He said I think it's sad, The way your tears, Give you pretty eyes Give me just one last, Psalm or wisdom, Before you say goodbye And he said, I, I wanna go back in time. Yeah he said I, I wanna go back in time

Accolades, keep me running for those accolades, Accolades, keep me running for those accolades, I fall down, they pick me up again, I fall down, they pick me up again, They say job well done, and they give me prize, They say job well done, and they give me a prize, Accolades, they keep me running for those accolades, Accolades, they keep me running for those accolades, Accolades, they keep me running, Accolades, keep me running for those accolades, But I need 'em, I need 'em, I need 'em, that instant gratification, I need 'em, I need 'em, I need 'em, that instant gratification

Toss and turn, wake up tired, my minds filled with a dream, I remember vividly, but I can't describe it, so that you'd understand it, and that's just how my mind does its thing, Is this how I normally walk, is this how my arms are supposed to swing, come on act naturally, you're an actor, this should be so much, easier for you, I won't shower, I'm through giving them a clean fight, I can't think straight, I'm thinking in curved lines, and the people who get it, who can filter through the static, are leaving every day, Is this how I normally walk, is this how my arms are supposed to swing, come on act naturally, you're an actor, this should be so much, easier for you, I found myself, wishing to be alone, wishing for the time, to hear myself think, cuz I found myself, in a late night conversation, I simulated in my head...

Why hello there, please tell me, why are you so sad? You've got a half dozen acquaintances, now please tell me, why is it so bad? You, don't, need, close, friends when you've got me, everyone else, feels like white noise, when you've got me, Sometimes it gets so hard, to sort it all out, I'd rather be by myself, or in front of a crowd, Won't you help me sort this out, I need help thinking out loud, Won't you help me sort things out, I need help thinking out loud, I think I might be going crazy, Oh, please don't make a scene, out of this monologue, your mother used to always say you can be, such an attention hog, you don't realize, just what this means, you begin to slip, from reality, Sometimes it gets so hard, to sort it all out, I'd rather be by myself, or in front of a crowd, Won't you help me sort this out, I need help thinking out loud, Won't you help me sort things out, I need help thinking out loud, I think I might be going crazy, it really feels like I could be going crazy, please save me from myself, Won't you help me sort this out, I need help thinking out loud, Won't you help me sort things out, I need help thinking out loud, I think I might be going crazy,

about

Psycho-Symmetry is an album meant to showcase the dichotomy of a given mind. The left and right brain, the extrovert and the introvert, the reader and the writer. So many times people are pigeon-holed into static categories without anyone realizing that one person can hold many, often times contradictory, states of mind that are changing faster than anyone can comprehend.

Psycho-Symmetry is for those who wake up a different person each day and wonder, "Who am I?"
